Established by David Del Mastro in 1987, Deltro was a small company that offered exceptionally high quality at a lower price that our first customers appreciated. Although we are a much larger company today our values remain unchanged. We still offer the same “small company” attention to detail, valuable customer service, and we believe that the best approach is to do the job once and do it right.
Our renewable energy experience began in early 2012 as the electrical contractor for a 10MW ground-mount solar photovoltaic project in Canada. Since then we have continuously invested in our employees and strengthened relationships with our sub-contractors through experiential learning and have become more effective project managers in the renewable energy field as a result.
In the last four years we have demonstrated an incredible amount of growth, and now offer a complete set of services in the renewable energy industry. Most recently we are developing and installing a battery energy storage system in Toronto, Ontario. Our ground mount photovoltaic projects also amount to more than 200 megawatts DC to date on installations ranging from 3 to 50 megawatts per project.
Our real strength is our combination of expertise, experience and creative problem-solving. That’s how we have grown and will continue to succeed in the future.
For the last 30 years we have consistently delivered high quality and cost effective projects to our customers and their stakeholders. Today Deltro Electric specializes in design and build industrial and commercial electrical construction and maintenance. We design and install major power systems, lighting and life safety systems, communications and cabling systems. Whether the project is large or small, we consistently offer low bid pricing while delivering state-of-the-art solutions.
Deltro offers the expertise, experience and creativity to solve the most complex electrical system problems. We have grown because we take a pro-active approach to problem solving and develop creative solutions to meet specifications and offer recommendations to provide alternative improvements.
Deltro is at the forefront of ground-mount solar in Canada through the provision of high quality alternate current and direct current electrical construction, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance. We are also an emerging rooftop solar engineering, procurement and construction contractor and international project developer.
Safety is paramount in the construction industry, especially when working with high power electrical systems. Deltro is fully committed to the safety of its workers and to the public it serves. We operate under the Deltro Health and Safety Manual while taking every reasonable precaution to ensure a safe working environment and maintain OHSA compliance including the Global Harmonization System / WHMIS as a minimum standard. Given the dangers inherent in the task, we retain the right to refuse work that would compromise any of our rigorous safety standards.
Deltro is committed to excellence in providing goods and services to members of the public as well as our customers and their representatives, including persons with disabilities; we achieve our accessibility goals by removing barriers to accessibility whenever possible, subject to any applicable health and safety requirements. In doing so our Customer Service Policy and any other documents required by the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 to be disclosed to the public, are available upon request.
