“Starting the Charge Ahead” – Deltro to start building 50MW of Battery Storage Facilities in Cuba.

In recent development, Deltro has started working towards providing a total of 300MW of Energy Storage in Cuba. The first installment of the 300 Megawatts will be a total of 50MW divided evenly between the provinces of Guantanamo (25MW) and Pinar Del Rio (25MW). Deltro has completed projects in the Caribbean previously and the team is looking forward to heading south to implement the new systems, again. With our BESS systems in Bermuda currently  operating, Deltro is positive that the team can bring the “charge” needed to complete these projects efficiently while still training locals in proper installation, maintenance and commissioning of the sites.

Deltro & UNE have been working towards converting Cuba’s current fossil fuel dependent grid into a renewably operated Island. The goal is to have Cuba 50% renewable by 2030 as per Cuban spokes person(s). In addition to the 100MW of Solar Parks being installed in 19 different locations, Deltro has committed to assisting the Cuban nation with all facets of renewable implementation by providing the technology, engineering & construction expertise to completing these projects.
